Food Service Lead
Description:
The Food Service Lead is responsible for planning and directing food preparation in a kitchen. The Lead will supervise others and assists in purchasing food and supplies, driving the kitchen van and deliver food when needed.
Qualifications:
Prefers Culinary Degree and at least five years of experience in food service preparation in large quantities. Previous supervisory experience a plus.
Database Manager & Events Assistant
Description:
The Database Manager & Events Assistant will manage the agency database by working closely with the Fiscal Department as well as assist in various events throughout the year including preparation and execution as needed. Responsibilities include timely processing of donor receipts and end-of-year tax letters, providing accurate mailing lists, donor listings, and weekly reports. Will maintain all records including an archive of Eliada mailings and departmental purchases.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of non-profit accounting priniciples with previous accounting experience preferred. Must have expert level experience understanding Raiser’s Edge donor database system and excellent customer service skills. Experience in WordPress and social media a plus.
Treatment Operations Officer
Description:
The Treatment Operations Officer will direct the development and implementation of new and expanded services and will be a key participant in strategic planning and programmatic implementation. Responsibilities include overseeing the development of programs, budgetary development, and monitoring income and expenditures.
This position will directly supervise several directors, including the Clinical Director, Residential Program Directors, Foster Care Consultants and others.
Qualifications:
Must have Master’s Degree in Human Services or MBA, ten years experience in behavioral health services, including strong program administration and supervisory experience. A strong preference will be given to those with experience in a Pyschiatric Residential Treatment Facility, or similar agency with a full continuum of services.

After School Bus Driver
Description:
The Bus Driver works under the broad supervision of the Director of Child Development and is responsible for transporting children in the Child Development Program. Responsible for coordinating schedule for trips with Director of Child Development and School Age Coordinator. Will pick up children from various community public schools and deliver them to the School Age Program. During the summer months, the Bus Driver provides bus services as needed to the Summer Camp Program. This person maybe eligible to transfer into our Summer Bus Driving position if interested.
Qualifications:
Must have valid NC Commercial Driver’s License. Must be endorsed to carry passengers and to drive bus with air-brakes. Prefer experience in driving school bus.
Summer Group Leaders
Description:
The Group Leader will be responsible for designing and implementing activity plans, keeping records, and caring for/supervising children in the classroom. Position will start in June and end beginning of August. Must first and foremost ensure that each child’s physical, emotional, and educational needs are met. This will include devising individual education plans for children with special needs. Group Leaders must also have clear and open communication with parents and supervisors.
Qualifications:
Must have seven clock hours of school age program training. Prefer someone 18 years of age or older with at least one year of experience and a minimum of 2 semester hours in child and youth development. Experience in a licensed school age program or camp setting a plus!
Community Liaison
Description:
The Community Liaison plays a key role in the vitality of the agency through growth of the donor base and promotion of Eliada in the community. The Community Liaison will be responsible for recruiting new donors and promoting Eliada in the community. Individual will organize and present workshops, seminars, and learning opportunities concerning Eliada’s mission. Other responsibilities include assisting in special events and building relationships with area churches and other organizations.
Qualifications:
Must have Bachelor’s Degree and basic knowledge of fund development principles and public relations. Minimum of 3 years experience in sales or fundraising preferred. All interested and qualified applicants please submit a professional writing sample and resume to Sheri Peck at speck@eliada.org.
Summer Bus Driver/Substitute Group Leader
Description:
We are currently looking for a Summer Bus Driver that will also act as a Substitute Group Leader for our summer camp. Both positions begin in the summer and will possibly extend into the next school year. Bus Driver-Responsible for coordinating schedule for trips with Director of Child Development and School Age Coordinator. Subsititute Group Leader-In charge of planning and implementing activities for the children. Requires keeping classroom records and documenation and ensuring child’s needs are met through supervision.
Qualifications:
Must have valid NC Commercial Driver’s License. Must be endorsed to carry passengers and to drive bus with air-brakes. Prefer experience in driving school bus. Prefer GED and knowledge of developmentally appropriate practives in school age classrooms.
PRN Treatment Staff (1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift)
Description:
Eliada is always looking for strong, reliable PRN staff to work with students in both day treatment and residential services. PRN staff can help on first shift in a classroom setting, on second shift in an after-school therapeutic setting, or on third shift. Third shift is responsible for safety during evening hours, documentation, bed checks, etc. All new direct care staff start as PRN, and from there are able to transition to full-time positions as they become available. This is an opportunity to be a solid role model for students who need structure and guidance in their lives. The goal of Eliada’s staff is to work with students, helping them to develop the skills they need to be successful, contributing members of their communities.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Thoroughly and effectively implement therapeutic models in order to teach important life skills that may contribute to students’ successful return to the community. Actively participate in the creation and daily implementation of individualized treatment and teaching plans. Meet regularly with the leadership staff and implement suggested feedback to ensure proper implementation of the treatment and teaching plans.
- Ensure the safety of our students by providing constant monitoring and supervision and thoroughly and effectively utilizing the agency’s crisis intervention. Ability to perform physical restraint techniques as part of the agency’s crisis intervention model.
- Accurately complete required mental health, medical and program documentation and required reporting / communication in manner consistent with required mental health and other licensure time requirements.
- Actively participate in the daily maintenance and management of the treatment program by ensuring a healthy, safe and therapeutic environment and completing responsibilities including, but not limited to, meal preparation, daily cleaning.
Qualifications:
A strong desire to work with students, patience, and the ability to work well in a team is a must! Prefer some experience with mental health/at-risk population. Minimum of high school diploma is required.
