moreatfour6.jpgEach year, companies and individuals become more and more dedicated to Eliada's Mission of Helping Children Succeed, so the list of Eliada's Special Events just keeps on growing. Our events serve not only as fundraisers to keep our programs operating, but also as a way to get to know our neighbors in the community. We hope you will take an active role in attending and / or sponsoring a special event with Eliada.

Want to Host Your Own Event?

Eliada relies heavily on the support of community groups and individuals like you to make our programs happen. It takes passion, creativity, and of course, time, but the rewards and the smiles are invaluable.

If you have an idea for an event that you would like to host on behalf of Eliada, simply email Kristen Brown with our Special Events at kbrown@eliada.org and she will contact you to discuss your event and, ultimately, work with you to make your event successful, fun, and truly memorable.

Below you will find a few ideas of what individuals/groups have organized as fundraisers for Eliada in the past:

Host a company golf tournament or sporting event
If your work or leisure group is full of active people, a sporting event may be the perfect fundraiser.  You may want to host a walk-a-thon, golf tournament, Frisbee-golf tournament, etc.

Host a company casual day
This fundraiser can be incorporated into any size office, large or small. One day of the week, employees dress down for a donation to Eliada Services and Foundation. Eliada will provide stickers or pins for your employees to wear during their day of "business casual" clothing.

Host a company banquet or holiday partyMany corporations already host a company party. You can turn your party into a fantastic fundraiser by easily holding a silent auction, raffle or 50/50 drawing. Eliada can help you with your first auction or raffle item and offer ideas on how to elevate your current company event into a spectacular fundraising event.

Collect pledges for a personal goal such as a Marathon    Maybe you are celebrating your birthday with a personal goal such as competing in your first triathlon. You can easily raise funds and obtain great personal motivation by collecting pledges from your family, friends and co-workers for Eliada. Eliada will supply tax receipts to these individuals for pledges over $10.

Have friends donate to Eliada in lieu of birthday gifts
Is it your wish to make someone else's wish come true for your birthday? It's possible by having your family and friends donate money in lieu of birthday presents.

Come up with a unique fundraiser of your own
In the past Eliada has been the recipient of some very creative and unique fundraisers. They include: a bass fishing tournament, a racquet ball tournament, Easter egg hunts, a martial arts "Break-A-Thon," blood drives, angel trees, giving trees, walk-a-thons, and many more. The possibilities are endless!

Contact Kristen Brown at  kbrown@eliada.org with your ideas and do your part in Helping Children Succeed!
