Eliada's Summer Day Camp: Adventure at a Great Value

ASHEVILLE - May 2006.  A unique summer camp experience for over 100 area children is set to begin on June 6th. As one of the oldest camps in the region, Eliada Adventure Camp has long been an important resource for working parents during the summer. With an on-site equestrian program, outdoor pool, and the only mini-bike program in the region, campers benefit from stimulating, exciting summer experiences on Eliada's historic two hundred acre campus. With weekly field trips, guest presenters, and abundant recreational opportunities, the camp offers an incredible diversity of choices for participating children.

Perhaps what's most remarkable about Eliada Adventure Camp is the value. Although the programmatic offerings are comparable or superior to many of the elite camps in the region, the price is not. Over sixty percent of campers attend with assistance from the Buncombe County voucher program, and at just $115 per week, Eliada Adventure Camp is overwhelmingly the lowest priced day camp in the region. Parents have the flexibility to enroll children for the duration of the summer, or for as little as one week.

Although June 6th is right around the corner, it's not too late for parents to get their children involved! Call Jeff Carnivale, Eliada's Summer Camp Director, at 828.254.5356 x 224 for more information.
