Fourth Annual Christmas Tea Raises Almost $25,000 for Eliada

Event was held Saturday, December 1st, at Lionscrest on the Biltmore Estate.

ASHEVILLE –December 2007- Eliada’s Fourth Annual Christmas Tea was held Saturday, December 1st at Lionscrest on the Biltmore Estate. Almost 170 attendees gathered to welcome the holiday season with a traditional English tea in support of the children and families Eliada serves. Guests also enjoyed music by a classic harpist and cellist, Dickens carols by the Hilltop Carolers, and a visit with Santa. Through ticket sales, sponsorship, and private donations, the event raised almost $25,000. This year was a record year for the annual event, which sold out nearly two weeks in advance.
