Grand Opening of Moe's Southwest Grill to Benefit Eliada Home
ASHEVILLE - March 27, 2006. On April 13th, Moe's Southwest Grill will open a new location at 1840 Hendersonville Road. The national restaurant chain features freshly prepared Mexican cuisine in a quick-service atmosphere, offering decadent salads, quesadillas, and other southwest specialties. Expanding upon the nationwide trend toward healthy fast food, Moe's prides itself on freshness, flavor, and creating a fun, family-friendly atmosphere.
As part of the grand opening celebration and in accordance with the restaurant's commitment to community betterment, Moe's will donate 20% of opening day sales to Eliada Home. Community members who visit Moe's on April 13th will not only enjoy a delicious meal, but will help the children and families of our region at the same time.
Founded in 1903, Eliada Home, Inc. is a non-profit agency serving the children and families of Western North Carolina. Originally a refuge for women and children and later maintained as an orphanage, Eliada's services now include Residential and Day Treatment for high risk children and adolescents; Child Development Center services, including Day Care, Summer Camp and School Age care; Foster Care and Therapeutic Foster Care; Therapeutic Recreation, featuring TASC (Therapeutic Animal Stewardship Cooperative) and NYPUM (National Youth Project Using Minibikes); and Community Support services. Entering their second century of service, Eliada continues to work toward fulfilling its mission: Helping children succeed.
