Ingles Market to Present $2,700 Check to Eliada Home
ASHEVILLE - May 2006. Ingles stores across our region have raised over $2,700 to benefit the children of Eliada Home. The generous donation will be awarded to Eliada in a check presentation ceremony to be held Wednesday, May 24th in the Paul Amos Recreation Center on Eliada's West Asheville campus. Incentive prizes donated by the Asheville Tourists and The Grove Park Inn & Spa will be awarded to the manager of the top-selling Ingles Market, and to the overall top-selling Ingles cashier. The media is invited to attend and enjoy a continental breakfast.Monies were raised during the Eliada Every Child Campaign, held April 9 - May 6, through the sale of $1 silhouette-style icons to Ingles patrons. In honor of child abuse prevention month, the campaign sought to raise awareness and funding in support of a safe, healthy environment for every child in our community. The Eliada Every Child Campaign was also supported by design and printing sponsor Hendersonville Printing Company and media sponsor Clear Channel Communications.
