Real Estate Investors Donate Land to Eliada
ASHEVILLE –November 2008- A group of real estate investors and developers has generously donated a roughly one acre parcel of land along Eliada Home Road to Eliada Homes for Children. Rusty Pulliam, Winston Pulliam, Greg Phillips, Stan Greenberg, and John Powell acquired the property through the purchase and subsequent renovation of a shopping center adjacent to Eliada’s campus.
“The land joins Eliada’s property and isn’t really suitable for development,” said Rusty Pulliam “We sold the other out parcels, so it just made sense to give it to the organization.”
According to Eliada CEO Mark Upright, “We’re thrilled that the Pulliams and their associates have chosen to give this property to Eliada. At one time, our campus included this land, which was sold to pay debts years ago. It’s fitting that this group of businessmen chose to return the property to Eliada.”
