Eliada's Foster Care Programs
Eliada’s foster care programs provide family living arrangements for children and
students. We accommodate the exceptional and intensive needs of
children and students who are unable to live with their own families. We provide
services to the parents and actively involve the
family in the service planning of the children and students. Eliada staff work in partnership on
Child and Family Teams where the issues that lead to placement of the
children and students in out-of-home care are addressed. Eliada staff and foster parents actively
support the children’s relationship with their parents, siblings, and
other family members throughout the placement. When reunification is
not possible, Eliada staff work with the Child and Family Team to help
secure a safe, nurturing, and permanent placement for the children and students.
Eliada staff and foster parents are committed to working
with families and children to achieve their goals.
Family Foster Care
Eliada’s Family Foster Care Program is designed to provide foster homes
for children and students who must live temporarily away from their families. Eliada’s Family Foster parents provide care for children in
the custody of the Department of Social Services. The services provided enhance the well-being of children and families by attending to
the needs of the child, foster family, and the family.
Community Respite
Therapeutic Foster Care is also an option for community respite. This service is provided for parents or custodians who need periodic relief from the constant and often stressful care of their child. Respite/short-term residential services can be provided on either a planned or emergency basis.
Therapeutic Foster Care
Eliada’s Therapeutic Foster Care Program is a temporary in-home residential treatment option for children and students who meet residential Level II or community respite criteria. Therapeutic Foster Care provides safe, structured, nurturing environments for children and students in individual foster homes. Eliada's Therapeutic Foster Parents are highly skilled professional individuals or couples who provide treatment to help meet the diverse needs of children and students in care.
