Workforce Ready Housing
The ESTA Program at Eliada Home is a housing and workforce development support program for young adults ages 18-25 facing housing insecurity. ESTA helps young adults transition to adulthood by guiding them through the process of becoming stably housed and living independently.
The key parts of the ESTA program are Housing Case Management and Transitional Housing. Housing Case Management includes young adults being paired with a case manager who helps them identify housing goals and work towards them. Students receiving housing case management will also be required to participate in monthly skill-building workshops. Transitional Housing is a one-year, supported housing program that is designed to provide a year of stable housing for individuals before they transition to permanent housing. Students in our transitional housing program will also be required to participate in housing case management, monthly skill-building workshops, and community meetings.
The ETSA Program at Eliada Home also supports youth who were involved in foster care at some point in their life and who are facing housing insecurity with obtaining the FYI-TPV (Foster Youth to Independence Tenant Protection Voucher). This voucher opportunity can provide individuals with between 3-5 years of rental assistance in the form of a housing voucher.
